Bass Tone

Danny Sapko in one of his YouTube shorts just reminded me about the crazy powerful bass sound that Felix Pappalardi is/was famous for. Bloody marvelous. I did see and hear him and the rest of Mountain live back in the early 70s. A truly ear wrenching, body shaking, earthquake of an experience. I doubt you'd get away with it these days (says the old bloke with possibly dodgy hearing but nevertheless acutely sharp memory recall for all the wrong things).
