RIP David Lynch

 

Seven years of daily milkshakes in the same establishment. I call that admirable dedication bordering on insanity. Perhaps it's untrue. True or not it's the sort of thing I'd like to be remembered for but hopefully only by people who remember their own version of events and not some secondhand or distorted account. RIP David Lynch, a director who's work will continue to be misunderstood because it's perfectly normal to be misunderstood. The narrow spectrum of normal rules everything, as contrary and undefinable as it is, it still rules across all art forms.
