It's just one thing after another: Having recently retired from playing the Victorian steam powered banjo with the mighty Capital Models I now find myself thrust into an unexpected performance piece with the eternal but unreliable force that is impossible songs.
Thankfully it's a small slot, sub 20 bleak Scottish minutes, in an eclectic programme curated by the Heartbreak Diet/Uhersky Brod people. A fine bunch. Not for the general public either. Somebody has a rather big birthday it seems (and for once it's not me).
Falling into the river is not an option. Alcoholic drinks of various kinds may also be involved. There will be munchie scran and possibly a few headaches the next day.
A full report is unlikely. As Frank Zappa once said; "writing about music is like dancing about architecture."
