Three of my chosen albums; cosmic, twee and pish. Appropriate enough really. |
I'm perversely proud of the fact that of the top 100 most influential albums of all time I have (or have owned) a paltry 17. My tastes and those of the rest of the world are strangely out of kilter, in a pleasant enough way. In fact at least 50 of the albums listed here I don't like at all nor would I consider them to be seriously influential (and on whom?), but that's the whole point of lists I guess. I think I can now officially describe myself as rather cantankerous but quite good at building bonfires. Test yourself
here.
Pretty rubbish if you can only do it if you're a Facebook drone...
ReplyDeleteDisappointed - can you copy the list and post it up?
I've no idea how it works or if Facebook is essential. i certainly had a good Facebook rant about it and got a little sympathy ;-). By all means do what you have to do, I'd be interested in your expert take on it.
ReplyDeleteFound it on google - I have 52 - agree that many on the list are shite and hardly likely to have influenced anyone of any import, certainly not me LOL
ReplyDeleteI have to say that this is a brilliant list. Shame Chemistry by Girls Aloud wasn't on it though.
ReplyDeleteOK as lists go maybe it was one of the better ones but where were the Alexander Brothers and Fran and Anna? Oh, and Lord James Shand of Auchtermuchty.
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to form the tribute band Frananannarama.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to join that band...one fine day. There could be a 50's type tribute Franannashanana.
